Title- Hell Fest The images are prioritized in the opening sequence?

The opening sequence prioritized images, including creepy props and signs for a local fair and haunt actors. This sets the scene of a maze that a group of friends is walking through. The narrow walls and weaving through the pathway emphasize that the girls are experiencing fear from the enclosed space and scary decor. The one girl is separated from the rest. A cloaked figure then appears from the shadows. It approaches the girl slowly while watching her closely. It grabs her and stabs her killing her. The figure drags the body away. We then see her hanging from the ceiling amongst other bodies and/or props. This sequence of images makes you feel scared for the girl. When she gets separated from her friends, her acting shows her fear. The set also makes you discern eerie and afraid like something isn't normal about this maze.

The genre horror is reinforced by the images and classic tropes, such as screaming and the melody being hummed by the figure. The music gives you chills. The lighting is also a key sign of understanding the genre. It's dark with lots of shadows and flashy bright lights used to confuse the friends and make them more fearful. The instant plot attracts the target audience of horror. It has the right kind of eerie music, and the antagonist's identity isn't known. The trope of kids getting murdered one by one is a big convention of the horror genre that attracts its specific audience.

The opening sequence is executed effectively because of the technology and editing used. The emphasis on the bolded titles. It switches from a few seconds of credit to a few seconds of acting. This creates an anxiety-inducing feeling that something is wrong as the story progresses. The vertical pan of the body hanging also leaves a sense of unease because it makes suspension that adds to the understanding of the genre.
